We stand for and with our communities
The ACU Cares Foundation exists to make a difference. We stand for, and with, our communities. Our efforts focus on education, housing, and health & wellness initiatives.
ACU believes in celebrating diversity, promoting equality and demonstrating a culture of inclusivity with our staff and members. When you bank at Allegiance Credit Union, you are a part of something bigger.
Below are a few of the organizations we've supported through our charitable giving campaigns:
- Restore OKC
- Sisu Youth Services
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County
- Regional Food Bank of OK
- Sunbeam Family Services
- City Center
- The Winds House
The Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation is the philanthropic partner that manages ACU Cares funds. Any administrative fees incurred by Cornerstone's management of the fund are covered by Allegiance Credit Union. Every dollar donated by you will go straight to a non-profit organization in Oklahoma.
All donations are tax-deductible. The Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation is a 501(c)(3), grant-making foundation supported by the credit union system in the Cornerstone region of Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Community Shred Days
You stay in your car while we unload your boxes! Shred Day events are free and open to the community.
2023 SHRED DAYS
Main Branch - March 25th
Edmond Branch - June 10th
South Branch - September 30th
Shred day hours are 10AM - 1PM.
We've shown up for our 2SLGBTQIA+ community by donating to Free Mom Hugs OK, The Winds House and participating in events such as the OKC Pride Alliance Parade and Freedom OK’s Equality Run.
We may not have all the answers, but we're committed to doing the work when it comes to being an inclusive place to bank.
Open Your Eyes to Allegiance Credit Union
Financial freedom is about more than money. It's also about having a financial institution you can trust. It's the weight being lifted off your shoulders when you know we've got your back. It's the relief you feel when you know your hard earned resources are protected by people you know. To be honest, our own mortgages are here, our car loans are here, our money is here. Experience the difference at Allegiance Credit Union.
Our Core Values and Leadership Practices
In 1995, we lost over half of our staff in the Oklahoma City bombing. That day we learned the tough lessons of loss and adversity. But over time, we also learned about hope, renewal, and that Oklahoma spirit of picking yourself up and forging on. We rebuilt our credit union on stronger bonds, stronger unity, and stronger ideals.
