Effective September 30th, 2010, the Reward Rate of 4.01% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) will be paid on balances between one penny and $20,000 when qualification are met. All other rates and qualifications will remain the same.

Qualifications

Make 12 Visa check card purchases per qualification cycle (purchases must be posted, not pending-excludes ATM Transactions)
Receive Electronic Statement and Notices
One Direct Deposit or Automatic Payment from your Checking Account Monthly.

Best of all, even if you don't meet the qualifications for a given cycle, the account is still free with NO monthly service charge and you can still qualify for the benefits in future cycles.

More Information

Reward rates 4.01% Annual Percentage Rate (APY) paid on balances between one penny and $35,000, and 0.60% APY paid on all amounts above $35,000.01 each cycle the minimum qualifications are met. If you do not meet the qualifications per cycle, you account will still function as a free checking account earning Base Rate 0.20% APY; however, it will not receive ATM fee refunds for that time period. Rates as of 04/01/10.

We may change the interest rate and APY at any time after the account is opened. No minimum balance required. A minimum of $25.00 to open this account. Available to personal accounts only. No monthly service charge. ATM fee refunds up to $25.00 per cycle when qualifications are met.
