Protect Your Identity and your Finances Online
Don't be E-Scammed! Beware of any email that asks you for your personal account information. Valid online companies, such as Allegiance Credit Union, PayPal or eBay, will never send you an email asking for your password, or credit card/debit card information.
There's a new type of Internet piracy that is called "phishing." It's pronounced "fishing," and that's exactly what these thieves are doing: "fishing for your personal financial information." They'll try to get account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers and any other confidential information that they can to steal from your checking account or run up bills on your credit cards. In a worst case, you could find yourself a victim of identity theft.
If you feel that your personal account information may have been compromised in a scam like this please call us immediately at 1-800-505-3328 or 405-789-7900.
