KinderCastle Child Care Center Visits the Credit Union

Children ages six to twelve toured the credit union on July 9th.  The youngsters learned about the operation of a credit union, enjoyed refreshments, played financial education games and were treated to an appearance by Earnie the Eagle.  Earnie is the mascot for Allegiance Credit Union.

Protect your Online Transactions

I had to order a new check card after mine was lost last fall. Since it was a crazy time in my life, the last thing I was thinking about when I ordered a new card was making sure that I enrolled my new check card in Verified by VISA.

The Invisible Budget - Click to View Image LargerHow much is a trillion? If you had a tightly packed stack of $1000 bills, $1 million would make a four-inch stack, $1 billion would cover the length of a football field and $1 trillion would make a stack 63 miles into the sky.

Those visual images are easy to understand and explain. Are the messages we send to our children about money this clear?
