Allegiance 47th Annual Meeting Coming Soon!
Allegiance Credit Union will host their 47th Annual Meeting on April 10, 2010. The event will take place at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum and is open to both members and non-members. Social time will begin at 6:00 p.m. and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m.
The theme for this year’s event is Hawaiian and the entertainment will feature Kealii’s Polynesian Spectacular; Polynesian and luau style dancing. Kealii’s will take you through the Islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand, and Tokelau where everyone voyages on a cultural journey with the dancers. Their performances have been labeled as a pulsating and spell bounding experience for their audience.
Each person in attendance will receive a free gift, a buffet dinner, a family photo and have the opportunity to win one of many door prizes including the grand prize which is a trip for two to Hawaii for five days and four nights. Everyone is encouraged to dress for the occasion and wear their favorite Hawaiian attire. “Credit Unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives, owned and controlled by the people who use their services, their members. Allegiance Credit Union invites every member to attend our meeting because all members are equal owners of the credit union whether their deposits amount to $50 or $100, 000,” said Laurie Stratton, VP of Corporate Development.
Tickets will be on sale at all Allegiance Credit Union locations from March 1 through April 7 or online at www.allegiancecu.org. Prices are $15 for members, $17 for non-members and $5 for children ten and under. Everyone is invited to this annual event, its’ just one more way Allegiance is keeping their promise of “friendly people, fewer fees and smart service.”

Following the success of Sunday hours in Midwest City, Credit Union Service Centers are preparing to open their Oklahoma City branch on Sundays beginning April 11, 2010. The location of the branch is 13801 N. Pennsylvania; hours of operation on Sunday will be the same as the Midwest City branch, 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
“Members utilize the extended hours readily in Midwest City. We want to test another location to measure how much additional convenience can be brought to the north part of the city. There are such a large number of retailers around the Oklahoma City branch that are open on Sundays, we feel the extra hours will be greatly utilized by the members of our participating credit unions” stated Misty Babb, Branch Manager. Ms Babb continued that she is excited to offer Sunday hours and predicts it will be as successful at this location as it has been at the Midwest City location.
